My rigid Nöll M5 Mountain Bike is a pure racing machine in the spirit of the early 90ies. However, as I am not doing races anymore it is still fine for me.

The setup of my first Nöll started with a perfect frame, some reasonably and many cheap components. Over the time almost all parts have been replaced by another. Meanwhile, only frame, fork, and braking system are in original 1995 state.

Since it is not possible to attach a suspension fork because of the frame's geometry I decided to assemble a new bike in 2008. Meanwhile it turned to be a travel bike with carriers, lightning and road tires.
