I used to ride my mountain bike on the road around Harz mountains for a long time, using slick tires. So I felt like having a road bike would give me pleasure. I bought one in 2006 but it didn't make me happy as expected. At some degree the roads around Karlsruhe are not a road biker's dream because of the heavy load of cars. On the other hand, now that I am able to cycle one or two times per week only, I  prefer to ride my MTB instead. Finally I decided to sell it away in 2008.
