Nöll M5 Space
In 2008 I assembled my Cross Country Mountain Bike which is a made-to-measure Nöll M5 Space.
It's hand made of steel. The tubes are filled brazed. The frame is rather heavy, of course. But the whole bike is 10.3 kg only. Some people call steel anachronistic but this Nöll frame is bleeding age of modern iron metallurgy. Don't get me wrong: I like carbon too, as you can see on my handlebar and seat post. But for me steel is simply the best material for bicycle frames.
I personally believe that this is the best hardtail mountain bike in the world!
